Bird Problems
In his nest
sits a bird
with his nut.
But the nut won’t crack.
He raps
slams
and bangs,
but
try as he might
the
nut
just
will
not

The Knight
I saw a shining knight,
His sword glorious and ornate.
His blade was made
From fine intertwined iron.
A crested shield meant
To represent his men
Rested in his other hand.
His horse stood strong
Atop a rock
Eager to start
A warrior’s march.

A Conflict
I’m entirely undecided.
Can I really reach out,
making myself available again?
Can I risk wrongs
for a chance of rights?
Ease off the emotions.
Let’s think rationally.
Suppose I reach out
Things go well
We connect again
Well, wouldn’t that be wonderful?
Imagine our experiences,
Brilliant and boundless!
Her…
Beguiling, beautiful…beatific…
But…
Backhanded. Belligerent. Bitter.
Stay out of sadness,
emotions in check.
Was it my fault?
Is she justified in her response?
Can we close the door without closure?
It’s hard to think logically.
Consequences could come,
but only calling can clear up if our conflict cracked our connection completely,
or if there’s a chance of connection.
Catharsis.
I’m thinking rationally enough.
Giving her a ring sounds rather refreshing.
