Work Projects
Documentation pieces of projects that I built for my work portfolio.
I made a 40-minute video where I rewrote the iconic anime Demon Slayer, and I've documented each step of my production process and the various types of storytelling I employed.
I took a look at the iconic anime Demon Slayer, and found it had a lot of wasted potential. I tried my hand at writing my own version in order to capitalize on that potential.
After writing my own version of Demon Slayer for a rewrite video, I formatted my narrative into a script, ensuring the clearest, concise, and best telling of my narrative.
With my script written for my rewrite video, it was time to narrate it. I worked to narrate with nuance and expression to maximize the impact of my script.
I'd narrated my rewrite video, and my next step was to edit my audio to ensure the clearest sound and smoothest pace.
I scored my rewrite video with soundtracks from Demon Slayer, using the power of music and audible storytelling to supercharge my narrative.
With the audio work done, I began editing footage from the show, using key elements of visual storytelling like editing, pacing, and shot choice to help my narrative pack extra punch.
My video was almost done. The intro and outro were the finishing touches, used to provide context, credit, and other quality of life elements of a video.
With my video's production finally over, I optimized it for the YouTube algorithm.
I built a series of mockup Facebook Ads for the writing blog One Stop For Writers.
I built a mockup cryptic email company for the game studio MOB Games.
I wrote two mockup promotional scripts to try my hand at scriptwriting: one for a detangling spray for earbuds, the other for an aeronautics company.
Looking back, I found that my time working at Chick-Fil-A showed me that I was a perfect fit for a Customer Success role.
